We are seeking a results-oriented, data-driven Data Analyst for our Marketing Intelligence team to help plan and execute integrated analytic strategies for our clients. About You

You’re always learning how the latest analytics techniques and technologies can help drive results for our clients. You like to talk about data layers and the inspect tool in Chrome is your happy place.

What You’ll Be Doing


  • Extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources, including third-party APIs, databases, and marketing platforms via an ETL tool
  • Designing and implementing marketing dashboards and reports in Looker Studio/DataStudio, Tableau, or other BI tools, using data visualization best practices to communicate complex data insights
  • Implementing website and conversion tracking scripts via Google Tag Manager
  • Using data from marketing platforms like Google Analytics, GA4, HubSpot, Google Ads, and Meta Ads to determine the revenue impact of marketing campaigns and activities
  • Conducting ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions and support decision-making processes
  • Applying data science methodologies and models to identify patterns and trends in customer behaviour, segmentation, and lifetime value
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Digital Marketing, Account management, and client teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance, while adhering to deadlines and quality standards.


What You’ll Need to Be Successful


Must Have’s


  • BComm, BSc, or BA Degree and/or appropriate combination of experience
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • A love of spreadsheets both Excel and Google Sheets
  • 2+ years of experience working as a marketing/business/data analytics specialist
  • Experience in data extraction and analysis, including experience with SQL and Google Big Query 
  • Proficiency in Google Tag Manager (or comparable platform), leveraging JavaScript and data-layer design when implementing tags, triggers and variables
  • Experience setting up and troubleshooting e-commerce data-tracking initiatives
  • Strong working knowledge of various data analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Matomo
  • Foundational knowledge of HTML and have worked with various websites and CMS platforms such as Wordpress

Nice to Have’s


  • Comfortable navigating within paid media platforms - ie. Meta, Google Ads, Pinterest
  • Experience in collecting and attributing leads across multiple platforms such as Hubspot and Shopify
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and forecasting methods. 
  • Foundational knowledge of statistical languages such as R and Python
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipeline development
  • Experience implementing and maintaining data platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, and Microsoft Azure
  • Experience implementing and maintaining server-side tracking platforms
